Eco-friendly and ethical clothing for everyone.

A growing trend, unisex fashion first appeared on the catwalks before recently making its way into the high street. Today, unisex creations that are easy to share are in vogue. Beyond the cut, each garment can be worn by anyone, regardless of gender. But besides being neutral and egalitarian, unisex clothing is also part of responsible consumption. We believe that unisex fashion can be part of a virtuous circle of ethical behaviour that is good for the planet. At Pamuuc, we have chosen from the start to offer a mixed wardrobe, breaking down the barriers between men's and women's clothing. Our collection is for everyone! Made for all body types and therefore open to all, this new fashion is the ultimate essential option of eco-friendly clothing for everyone, for a sustainable wardrobe.

Clothes that speak volumes about our commitment.

Our designs are not subject to the frenetic pace of fast-fashion trends. No more collections or seasons! We are committed to timelessness and durability. Our collection reflects our philosophy of 'better consumption'. All our actions are part of this committed approach that respects the planet and people. We want to give meaning to fashion, to give everyone the power to act for a fairer and more respectful world.

In plain colours (black, navy, natural, white), with simple weaves, our clothes are easy to mix and match according to your taste. Everyone can dress freely without having to choose between men's and women's styles.

We choose sustainable fashion with pieces that can be worn both in winter and summer.

These styles are also sold in packs. An efficient way to save time and money. They are a great option for those who want to update their wardrobe without spending too much. With these packs you can save up to 20% and get more durable clothes. We have chosen natural (certified organic cotton) and recycled materials for our products. Made with FairWear and Oeko-Tex standards in mind, our eco-friendly clothes are the basics for an ethical and timeless look. The weight of a fabric depends on the thickness of the threads that make it up, the density of the weave and its composition. Fabric weight is measured in gr/m2 (grams per square metre). In other words, it is the number of threads per square centimetre. The tighter the weave, the more threads, the heavier the fabric. The weight of the fabric used varies from model to model to ensure the expected fit and comfort.

Building a brand with a long-term commitment

Thanks to your interest in our brand, together we are participating in a profound change in the world of ready-to-wear. It is time to change conventional fashion and choose responsible and conscious behaviour. With the aim of being as transparent as possible about the production of each piece, Pamuuc aims to produce 100% of its collection locally in Barcelona, Spain, and to achieve GOTS certification by 2023. To achieve this, we carefully select our production partners based on their expertise and commitment to us. Our ultimate goal is to be able to do everything within Pamuuc, from growing the raw materials to the final production of the garment within the company. Together we can work towards a more responsible fashion industry.

FAQ - Unisex Clothing

What materials can be used to make eco-friendly clothing?

Eco-responsible clothing is made from environmentally friendly materials. Designers opt for fabrics made of natural materials. For example, they use organic cotton, which does not deplete the soil and requires natural fertiliser. This material is recommended, for example, in the manufacture of eco-friendly T-shirts or sustainable tracksuits. Hemp is also one of the most popular materials for eco-friendly clothing. This material is biodegradable and durable. Recycled materials such as cotton, leather or converted plastic are also recommended. This helps to reduce and give a second life to waste.

How is recycled polyester obtained?

Recycled polyester is obtained from the transformation of plastic waste, production offcuts or used clothing into polyester. There are two methods of converting waste: mechanical recycling and chemical recycling. In mechanical recycling, the recovered plastic waste is compacted and ground into plastic flakes. The flakes are washed and dried before being granulated. The resulting product will be processed into fibres such as new polyester to make environmentally friendly clothing. In chemical recycling, plastic waste is reduced to its original monomers through chemical reactions in the laboratory.

What are the fabrics of the future?

The fabrics of the future are greener. As the fashion industry is being blamed for being one of the main contributors to global warming with its high carbon emissions, the search for eco-friendly alternatives is growing. Eco-friendly clothing made from sustainable textile fibres will invade the market. In particular, the textile industry will opt for natural and vegetable fibres. Milk fibre, which optimises the use of uneaten milk, will make biodegradable fabrics like silk. Pineapple leaf fibre will be a useful replacement for leather in the manufacture of shoes. Seaweed fibre for very soft eco fabrics and coconut fibre are also among the materials needed in the creation of organic clothing, in addition to organic cotton.

Is cotton a recyclable fabric?

Yes, cotton is a recyclable fabric. In addition, recycling cotton requires complex mechanical processes, which consume more energy. This alternative is used to give a second life to clothing and other cotton waste. Furthermore, recycling allows to obtain eco cotton fabric and to avoid overexploitation of natural resources. The eco-fabric obtained from the recycling of cotton clothes will be used in the manufacture of men's and women's clothing that is both sustainable and environmentally friendly. Thus, recycled cotton is the fabric of the future.

What materials are used to make Pamuuc clothing?

Pamuuc uses environmentally friendly materials in the production of its sustainable clothing. In order to meet its commitment to the environment, the company opts for 100% organic cotton. This raw material, grown with natural compost instead of chemical fertilisers, is used for the production of T-shirts and accessories. In addition, Pamuuc uses 85% organic cotton and 15% recycled polyester for sweatshirts, sweatpants and shorts. Pamuuc imports its cotton from Bangladesh. The fabric design, Oeko-Tex dyeing, embroidery and screen printing are all done in Barcelona.
